CONSTRUCTION OF STATION BUILDING AT NEMILICHERY UNDER PROGRESS
Shri M.S. Jayanth, General Manager, Southern Railway inspected the Chennai Central – Arakkonam section recently. During the inspection, the progress of construction of Nemilichery railway station was reviewed by the General Manager. One of the main reasons for delay in commissioning this station is non-availability of earth. Based on the directions from the GM, the divisional authorities met the District Collector & local authorities and 3200 cu.m. of earth was arranged at the site.
